Michael Slezak 

Linea 5 Principal and President, Co-Founded Linea 5, inc. in 1985, with the goal of creating a firm dedicated to exceptional service to its clients.  In the nearly 3 decades since, Mr. Slezak has worked to develop and maintain a firm culture that has achieved that goal.  His dedication to high quality design, service, and technical excellence has earned Linea 5 the trust of many valued clients.  His management skills have supported the design and construction of some of the most challenging and complex project types, from land planning and master planning to research and medical facilities.

Robert Cotta

Linea 5 Vice President of Engineering, is a registered Professional Engineer in the structural discipline.  He has an extensive background over a 35 year career in design and management of building projects with a focus on renovation of existing facilities constructed with historic materials and systems.  His expertise includes structural and building envelope systems constructed of timber, stone and brick masonry, concrete, steel and cast iron.  Mr. Cotta’s projects cover a variety of renovation and addition projects for institutional, recreational, industrial and residential clients.  His approach to existing building renovation projects is to understand the existing building and structure so as to work with its inherent strengths, maximize the reuse of existing materials and systems, and sympathetically modify and improve the existing fabric to meet current building code requirements.   This approach results in the implementation of true sustainable design that effectively maximizes the continued use of our inherited building infrastructure.

Jennifer Cardettino

Principal, has 15 years of experience in programming, project management, design, documentation and construction administration of medical, institutional and commercial projects.  She has worked on various sized projects from one room renovations to designing and managing a new building fit-up of almost 100,000 sf.   Ms. Cardettino has concentrated on institutional, laboratory, and clinical construction for her entire career and has gained vast technical knowledge in those specialties.  She has worked with users to obtain efficient and workable solutions to complex issues in working with specific technical equipment within existing conditions she’s had to work with.   She has also designed clinical suites with varying business models and workflows.

John Garcia

Principal, has 20 years of expertise and experience in design, documentation and construction administration of varied project types for commercial, medical, institutional and residential clients. Throughout his career he has endeavored to provide unique design solutions to client programs. John has developed an understanding of design and construction systems and processes necessary for a successful project of any scale. He has demonstrated ability in managing a design team, coordinating building systems, administering a construction contract and negotiating with contractors.

Jennifer Lin

Principal, has over 10 years of experience in design and construction of wide range of project types from master planning, to renovation of commercial, retail, medical, institutional and research projects.  Having worked on projects of different scales, from feasibility study of an office addition to new renovation of multi-level research lab facilities, Jen has developed an in-depth understanding of user driven design, technically complicated project type and the importance of working with owners, contractor and other consultants as a team.

Tammy Troubetaris

Linea 5 Principal, has been with Linea 5 since 1998 and since that time has been involved in a wide range of institutional, clinical and research based projects.  Her design experience together with her understanding of the requirements of clinical and imaging suites, and her ability to understand and work with complex critical engineering systems, has made her most valuable to our clients.  She has been most recently involved in several master plans for major healthcare facilities, multi-phased projects in clinical environments, and design and construction of various size institutional projects. Her past experience has included community/recreation space and housing developments. Much of her work has been with repeat clients who appreciate her design sense as she helps them realize their programmatic goals.

Andrew Delatore

Andrew is an Associate Principal with over 14 years of experience in a wide range of clinical and research projects. His understanding of complex engineering systems and their integration with the client’s spatial needs has made him a valuable asset to our clients. Andrew has designed and managed many technically challenging project types from cutting edge medical imaging devices, biotech research labs, specialty biosafety labs, clinical spaces and hospital food service programs. He has extensive experience preparing feasibility studies that give our clients a thorough understanding of project scope, potential costs and project timeline.
